Maison Cote plum salad with maple syrup & cognac

I do like sweet but I never was a cake or pastry fanatic 
as the most part of the time  they are not very tasty to me 
but in this harvest  time where plum are in abundance  I love to make a plum tart with marzipan and plum and a little apricot glaze on top, a light cake clafoutis style with plum, to make plum jam  plum balsamic jelly, but my favorite of all is so simple  cut plum  maple syrup & cognac or orange brandy serve warm in a rim vanilla sugar glass
