Italian plum Jam recipe




It is so easy to do and delicious 
Prep: 30 min
Slow cooking time: 1 Hour
Yield about 6 jars of 250 ML 

  • 2 kg (4 1/2 lb.) Italian plum( Questches)  dice without the seeds
  • 1 litter (4 cup) sugar
  • 30 ml (2 soup spoon) lemon juice



  • in a thick bottom pot add plums sugar & lemon juice bring to a boil, reduce the heat and let stew  45 min    stirring  often  until the jam became more to the consistence you are looking for 
 Then fill sterilize hot jars.
if you have a plum tree they produce lots so change the recipe by adding port wine or cognac , some with clove and merlot wine ...
Have fun and you will enjoy the fruits of you labor all winter
